Wartime Veterans Facts

Veterans and their spouses or dependents can qualify for tax-free income.  Hands holding an American flag

Families struggling with or facing Alzheimer’s can benefit greatly from a little know Veterans Benefit. Qualifying veterans are entitled to an Aid and Attendance Pension.  A veteran suffering from Alzheimer’s, ALS or other forms of dementia and requiring a protective environment may qualify a monthly income up to the following amounts:

Single Veteran:  $1788.00

Couple (Veteran in Protected Environment) $2,120.00

Couple (Spouse in Protected Environment) $1,404.00

This Program is designed to help identify what is needed to qualify for the benefit and the process that is involved.
